Start Over Rover is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue in Hastings, Nebraska. We provide sanctuary and steady daily care while cats and dogs wait for what comes next.

Our history
Start Over Rover grew from a local commitment to give animals in and around Hastings a safer path forward.
April 2011
The organization began welcoming animals and building a volunteer-powered rescue in Hastings.
Later in 2011
More room created a stronger foundation for sanctuary, daily care, and responsible placement.
